Situated in rural Kent, the YHA Medway is opposite Capstone Country Park. With a restaurant, this traditional oast house is also just 10 minutes’ drive from the Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust Museum. The hostel offers both private rooms and dormitory rooms. Each room benefits from shared bathroom facilities. Guests are welcome to relax in the communal lounge and make use of the self-catering kitchen. Ideal for outdoor pursuits, the YHA is just a few miles from both walking routes of North Downs Way and Sustrans Route 1. The Chatham Ski and Snowboard Centre is only a 5-minute walk away. YHA Medway guests can visit Charles Dicken’s former home, at Eastgate House in Rochester. The historic Leeds Castle is just 12 miles away.
